Leaders and teams with high emotional and social effectiveness (ESE) are more successful and more resilient than those who are only technically qualified. ESE is based on the skills of respecting yourself, reaching for your potential, valuing and motivating others, and engaging creatively when conflict happens.
The Center for Creative Leadership found the primary causes of derailment in executives involve deficits in emotional competence. Especially:
1. Difficulty in handling change
2. Not being able to work well in a team
3. Poor interpersonal relations
These are skills that can be learned.
Emotional Intelligence, or better yet, emotional and social effectiveness, is based on the skill set that enables us to engage, influence and motivate ourselves and one other. With ESE we will help you build new productivity into your organizational and personal performance. Emotional Intelligence is responsible for 27 to 45% of workplace success. You can achieve the success you know is available by tying EI measurement and skill development directly to the competencies you need to support top performance.

Individuals
-
EQi – Individual, self rater report covering the 15 factors found necessary for success in the workplace and all of life.
-
EQ-i Business Report - created in response to the popularity of the EQ-i in corporate settings. The test publisher says: “Robust in its content, the Business Report contains business-specific strategies and action plans that are more compatible and meaningful for the corporate audience. The added content helps to explain the scales in greater detail and indicates how each can affect individual and organizational performance.”
-
EQ Leadership Report – this takes the EQi and applies it to areas researched by the Center for Creative Leadership and Dr. BarOn to emphasize the critical leadership aspects for the leader. This assessment is built on the EQi, it is not necessary to take another questionnaire.
-
EQ 360 - The EQ 360 is a statistically valid and reliable multi-rater report which probes deeper than the self report found in the EQi. It provides the ability to have those who work closely with the client provide information as well. It highlights key employee strengths and impediments to high performance, along with areas that could be developed for maximum functioning. It is a great tool for coaching as it can be used to follow up and measure progress over time. Up to 50 raters may provide their responses.
Teams
TESI® is a team 360 designed so your team gains the data to recognize and build on its strengths while identifying and addressing its weaknesses, all of which supports targeted strategic focus.

Organizations
BENCHMARK OF ORGANIZATIONAL EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE (BOEI)
A number of characteristics related to emotional intelligence have been identified and studied and have been found to be important in creating a productive work environment. The Benchmark of Organizational Emotional Intelligence (BOEI) is an instrument that has been designed to be an important step in that process. The BOEI is a powerful organizational survey designed to measure the level of emotional intelligence in an organization as a whole and in parts. This tool takes advantage of the fact that organizations grow by developing the people within; therefore, this survey can serve as an integral component to a company's strategic plan. Increasing the level of emotional intelligence (EI) within an organization will enable a company to promote communication, productivity, employee empowerment and satisfaction.
Recognize your strengths, use emotional and social effectiveness to expand your skills and create authentic motivation to be all you can be! Contact Us to schedule EI benefits for you or your organization.
