Your Benefits: The morning is an intensive workshop with presentation by Dr. Bar-On with experiential practice to enhance your application skills. The afternoon includes sessions on teams and emotional intelligence with Marcia Hughes and James Terrell and on the impacts of stress to emotional intelligence by Henry L. (Dick) Thompson. We’ll conclude with a question and answer session led by Dr. Bar-On.

Speakers/Hosts:
Reuven Bar-On, Ph.D. is a pioneer and internationally acknowledge expert in emotional intelligence. He coined the term (EQ" ("emotional quotient") in 1985 to describe his approach to assessing emotional and social competence.
Marcia Hughes and James Terrell are founders of Collaborative Growth, LLC and co-authors of Emotional Intelligence in Action, The Emotionally Intelligent Team and the upcoming Coaching for Emotional Intelligence. Marcia and James serve as a strategic communications partners for leaders
and teams in organizations that value high performers.
Henry L. (Dick) Thompson, Ph.D., President and CEO of High Performing Systems, Inc., and author of numerous books and articles on emotional intelligence, MBTI, FIRO-B/Element B, leadership and teams. Dr. Thompson currently collaborates with Multi-Health Systems, Inc., publisher of the
EQ-i and MSCEIT, and is developing EI materials and conducting research on emotional intelligence.
